Responsibilities:
Provides legal counsel to and representation of clients in litigated matters.
Performs legal and factual research and investigation to formulate a legal opinion, identify risks and propose alternative courses of action.
Performs routine legal work using established procedures, including preparing pleadings, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, defense exams, and any other court related matters.
Offers direction and communication to client on behalf of law firm throughout the litigation process.
Communicates views effectively orally and in writing and represents position to others.
Provides assistance to other attorneys on major projects and assignments Works with managerial guidance and oversight.
Grows business.
Requirements:
Must have completed at least 1 year previous litigation experience as an attorney, criminal or civil, plaintiff or defense, and be admitted to the Florida Bar.
Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail oriented Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment, take direction and work with little supervision Able to manage a large caseload and comply with deadlines Familiar in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the ability to become proficient in firm technology programs Job Type:
