Description:
To provide advanced technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and advanced operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison. Provides education and training to all staff for radiological, fluoroscopic, equipment and supplies related to procedures. Estimated pay range for this position is $36.69 - $51.37 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees: Bachelors Licenses & Certifications: ARRT Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography ARRT Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography CCI Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist CCI Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography Basic Life Support Additional
Qualifications: May substitute 5 years of total experience in lieu of bachelors degree. Registered Radiologic Technologist from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and current Florida license. Bachelor of Science preferred. Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credentials and advanced certification required (VI,CV, or CI for IVR and RCIS or RCES for Cath Lab. Completion of at least 18 CEUs annually. (12 CEUs must be CV related) Academic courses relevant to the profession taken through a regionally accredited university or college can count for 16 CE credits for each academic semester credit or 12 CE credits for each academic quarter credit.
