Sr Software Engineer QA Automation Vendornet
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Boynton Beach, FL area.
VendorNet delivers omnichannel fulfillment and supply chain management technology, enabling retailers to optimize inventory and maximize profitability by leveraging collaborative order management and fulfillment processes across the entire enterprise (warehouses, third-party suppliers, and stores).
Designs, develops, and oversees the automation testing architecture used for the VendorNet software suite. Participates in a continuous improvement process of identifying and removing sources of friction in the software development life cycle. Provides hands-on testing and automation expertise to developers and software testers and motivates team members by encouraging creativity, positivity, and teamwork.
o Design and guide implementation of an automation architecture and supporting processes
o Make recommendations for automation tools via a rigorous selection process
o Work closely with software engineering and architecture teams to establish an automation roadmap
o Provide mentoring and governance on software testing methodologies
o Provide strategic recommendations on software development methodology
o Advocate automation best practices
Job Requirements
o 5
years of working in a technical leadership and/or architecture role in a Quality Assurance group.
o 5
years of developing/implementing test automation frameworks.
o Experience with continuous integration and build tools
o Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Test Manager, Team Foundation Server. Other tools such as Selenium and IBM Rational Test Workbench a plus.
o Experience with creating automated performance testing frameworks is a definite plus.
o 4
years' experience programming with .NET (VB.NET, ASP.NET preferred).
o 2
years' experience with MSSQL is required.
o Familiarity with Web Services design principles and implementation techniques a plus.
o BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. Masters preferred.
Education
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
