Job Description
This position is responsible for the installation, support and maintenance of hardware and software of Quantachrome Instruments. Technical support of servers, networks and desktops will be required. You will work with and without direct supervision in the office. The successful candidate will possess a technical background with the expertise to support solutions that meet our technology requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Desktop, phone, laptop, and printer support.
Provide support of software, including implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Server, network and desktop hardware installation and configuration.
Maintain a professional appearance and promote a positive company image at all times.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management personnel as required.
Background Requirements:
0-3 years of professional experience.
Windows XP/7/8, Microsoft Office support experience.
Helpdesk support
Excellent customer service skills including an ability to follow-up to ensure closure of issues.
A positive, customer service oriented attitude.
Ability to work individually and as a team.
Constant use of computer including keyboard and mouse.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or less.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
