Job Description:
Provides graphic and marketing assistance to the Director of Business Development and the marketing department. Duties and projects will be vary depending upon specific marketing programs and needs. The Marketing Assistant will also interface heavily with the sales department in supporting marketing initiatives that are carried out through the global sales and distribution organization.
Duties:
The duties will vary from week to week, and month to month. Envisioned duties and responsibilities might include, but are not limited to:
Providing support for the expansion of web based content
Providing graphical assistance for sales and marketing collateral which could be print, or digital
Provides assistance with updating and organizing the KIOSK- a web based portal for content for the sales reps. This includes content as well as developing better graphical user interfaces.
Provides assistance for the organization of webinars, promotion of webinars, and follow up activity from webinars.
Provides assistance for organizing and mining customer database records used for various marketing initiatives
Provides assistance with developing marketing programs for the analytical laboratory services business unit (Lab QmC)
Assists with trade show logistics
Assists with maintenance of web site
Assists with SEO initiatives
Assists with Google Adwords maintenance and optimization
Assists with maintaining monthly marketing metrics such as leads generated, and generation source
Works with sales to analyze conversion of leads for market intelligence to determine cost per lead, lead sources, and which lead sources are converting.
Works to develop customized e-marketing initiatives on behalf of domestic sales reps.
Assists in organizing meetings and events.
Assists with managing social media program via Linked In, Twitter, and Facebook and developing compelling content

Knowledge & Skills:
Required:
Knowledge of web site structure, maintenance, and design.
Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
Knowledge of managing Google Ad Words campaigns, and other online PPC advertising sources (Bing and Yahoo) working with PPC (pay per click) vehicles.
Familiarity with Adobe Dreamweaver in specific for design of HTML web sites.
Strong skills with all of Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access.
Excellent writing skills.
Strong quantitative analysis skills
Good organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work well in a small team environment.
Benefiicial:
Science background or experience with scientific, medical, or technical products.
Technical writing

Desired
Experience:
Ideally candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant work experience. They should be able to demonstrate technical capabilities in desired areas either via education or relevant work experience.
Education:
Minimum of 2 year technical or associates degree in relevant subjects combined with relevant work experience to gain additional hands on knowledge required. Suitable degrees would be science, business, graphic design, film, digital arts, web design, or programming.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
